In today’s society, we would be lying if we said we didn’t rely on technology. Technology, whether it be POS systems, microwaves or smartphones is incorporated into our daily lives where we simply cannot ignore it.
One of the great technology advances is Cloud Computing. Before the advent of the Cloud we used to reach for a USB stick, bulky portable hard drive or other hardware for file storage. Most of us have made the transition from Ethernet cables to Wireless. We live in an ever-evolving world of technology and have expanded our creativity with something as innovative as Cloud computing, so it’s time to embrace that change too. Physical storage is no longer needed, your files need no longer be prone to damage resulting in the loss of your precious data.
According to recent statistics, more than 20% of European companies have already invested in cloud computing whereas in Australia only 16.5% have changed their infrastructure to cloud based. Should Australia be one of the countries to lag behind – or should we be one of the leading countries demonstrating that cloud computing is here to stay and definitely worthy of our attention.
